If You Happen To Be In Vilnius, Lithuania,

and stand at the right spot,

at the right time, you might see a trolleybus disappear for a few seconds,

the busses are momentarily camouflaged thanks to
photorealistic printed imagery mounted to their exteriors for this summer’s
Vilnius Street Art Festival (media by Studio Vieta), Lithuanian artist Liudas
Parulskis collaborated with
Studio Vieta to print full-scale scenes from the
city onto public trolleybuses, a retro mode of transportation that
has remained popular in Vilnius despite being
replaced by newer transit systems in many modern metropolises,
strangely enough I still remember them in Woolwich in the early 1950s.
