Kinetic Sculptures,


containing gears, cogs and crankshafts,










 are always going to be difficult to make, especially if they are made of wood,






 but Indonesian artist Dedy Shofianto, rose to the challenge, 






and made these intriguing pieces of art work using locally grown teak, mandibles, wings and antennae all move through the action of hidden electrical motors,
