Hi all! okay, I am finally getting down to writing my Sydney trip last year.
What's there not too love with the chilly wind and warming sun rays and my parents loving their fish and chips? I guess many.
Yes this post is way overdue but it was a happy trip with my darling parents. We spent 5 days in total and went on a very relaxing pace exploring the whole of Sydney and the outskirts via ferries as well.
It has been a long time since we went on an overseas trip but I am glad they enjoyed themselves.
This post focuses only on the Circular Quay area and its attractions along the way.
Walk along the promenade and enjoy the many sights and performances such as the Aboriginal buskers.
Scenes of Sydney City Center
One of the more engaging and interesting museum for me, is the Museum of Contemporary Art. Admissions are free and they open from 10am-5pm Mon-Wed and Fri-Sun. 10am-9pm on Thurs.
Spacious galleries, special exhibits alongside MCA collections, if you love modern arts like me, step right in!

Sydney Harbour Bridge
I guess this icon needs no introduction.
Sydney Opera House in all its galore.
Just a hop away from the Circular Quay is the latest Passengers Overseas Terminal is to serve overseas cruises soon.
Campbell's Cove.
The Rocks
An area of strong historic flavors cum dining/ entertainment region now, patronized by tourists and locals who wants to wine and dine.

The Rocks is well known for The Rocks Market which operates every weekends 10am – 5pm, Saturdays and Sundays stretching along Playfair Street, George Street and Jack Mundey Place. Unfortunately we didn't have a chance to go to the market.
The Wharf is where you can board ferry rides to surrounding areas such as Darling Harbour, Wild Life Sydney etc if you are planning a half day out from the city.

There are many cafes and bistros lining up along the quay and we spotted the Guylian Belgian Chocolate Cafe !
Here's the deed.
And tada~ You can't miss this while in Sydney, can you? The Sydney Opera House.
My darling parents :)
Time stood still with the white seagulls- a common sight along the Harbor area.
Along the Sydney Opera house Broadway, you will be able to glance at the high-rise business district buildings.
Royal Botanic Garden
From this side of the opera house- located right near the Opera House steps and forecourt, on the left, is the Queen Elizabeth II Gate that leads into Royal Botanic Garden .
Here is the Queen Elizabeth II Gate, just adjacent to the Sydney Opera House.
The most famous attraction in the garden will have to be Mrs Macquaire's Chair.
Mrs Macquaire's Chair is located at the far end of the garden, on the peninsular tip, over at Mrs Macquaire's Road. It is such a popular spot that many tourists came clamoring for a photo shoot with the chair. The 'chair' in question though, is nothing but an exposed rock cut into the shape of a chair and history has it that Mrs Macquaire sat there overlooking ships sailing into the Sydney Harbour.
Overlooking from the chair, you will be able to spot a perfect view of Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbor Bridge matching in harmony with the blue blue sky.
Continue a leisurely stroll inside the Royal Botanic Garden and look around for the floral and faunas .
Spanning a huge 30 hectares, the garden is a lush piece of greenery and serenity in the city. This year, the garden celebrates its bicentenary! Wow.
Step into a different world, rich in aboriginal heritage, history and Australian plant species.
A lovely day calls for some breathe of fresh air~
This post shall end here for now~~
By the way, traveling on your own is easy in Sydney as you are able to catch the local buses/ trains withing the City Center to head to the Circular Quay Terminal or anywhere in Central Sydney.
