Falling for Fringe!

I'm a terrible fashion blogger...mostly because I'm not one to follow trends. This fall alone--suede is back in, windowpane is the new plaid, and apparently those puffer jackets that add 5lbs are chic now. I can't keep up and in many cases I don't want too. I'm much more interested in wearing clothes that I love. But lately, I've become inadvertently trendy because I'm totally falling for fringe.

I incorporated two of my favorite fringe pieces into this OOTD. One of them obviously being this oversized scarf. I was already in love with the dual sided pattern. But then, I noticed the black and white fringe along the edges. I'm a girl who focuses on the details and this extra bit of fringe is what sold me.
My second favorite fringe piece are these boots. I always have trouble committing to neutral pieces because I find them boring, even something as classic as black booties. But when I spotted this pair with fringe, I knew these were the perfect fit for me.

And because I'm totally smitten with Fringe, here are more fringe pieces that I'm seriously considering adding to my closet #ineedthem
