Nunsongyee, Korean Bingsu Dessert!

Woke up earlier than usual today cuz the boy and I had some errands to run~ Not gonna say much about the 'errands' since its quite personal but I hope things will eventually turn out for the better starting from today :)
Then we headed over to Chinatown cuz I wanted to eat Bingsu so badly and was going to give the one at Chinatown called 'Cafe Insadong' a try. SADLY, IT WAS CLOSED WHEN WE ARRIVED and it got me wondering why on earth is a cafe closed on a Sunday right!??! Lol weird but alrighttttt.
Googled for an alternative Bingsu place and a store called 'Nunsongyee' came out a couple of times so we gave it a try which turned out to be extremely good!! It was also heartening when I realised the counter girl who served me was a Korean. Kinda reaffirms that the Bingsu I was going to have will be an authentic one! We had the Black Sesame Bingsu with added extra mochis cuz I love mochis to death!! I would say its pretty pricey for an ice-shaving-dessert ($18.90) compared to the one I originally had in Seoul which is around $8-$10. But I am definitely satisfied with the Bingsu and will be coming back for more to try out the other flavours! Not a paid post btw, just sharing with you guys cuz its really yummy!Nunsongyee is at 45 Burghley Drive #01-04 (S) 559022 (Serangoon). From Tues-Sun 10am-10pm!
