Cafe Hopping @ Holland Village!

Since Zac stays near Holland V, I had the chance to pop by a few cafes here!

Been to Hatched a couple of times and the All-Day-Breakfast served here is pretty decent!

Sir Benedict is my all time favourite but this Smoked Royale was really good as well :)


Food makes us happy :) Hehe

This cafe caught my attention while I was browsing through my instagram feed a few days back... and I was so delighted when I found out that it's located at Chip Bee Gardens which is just a 5mins walk from Holland V!





Sunday Folks sells mainly desserts and beverages! So pop by here after having your lunch/dinner elsewhere. I'd also recommend dropping by here during off peak timing because the queue can be quite @.@

Freshly baked Belgian Waffles paired with Strawberries & Blueberries, Roasted Pistachio Soft Serve, top off with Almond Thins & Handmade Gula Melaka Mochis.
It honestly sounded better than it tasted :( lol. The waffle itself was good, but the soft serve was pretty disappointing and it kinda melted off too quickly! Everything became a pile of mess in 3 mins. The almond thins were awesomeeeeee tho but I would't say so for the Mochis. The mochis tasted just plain weird. Do not order them(!!).


Would probably pop by again for the cakes? But nah I wouldn't queue an hour just for this... Lucky that I came at the right timing and there were a few vacant tables! :D

#FINALLY had the chance to try D' Good Cafe! It's always 24/7 packed every time I came here.It is also packed even during off peak time, and they don't accept reservations for small groups so.... it's really up to your luck!



The Green Tea Mocha Frappe was good!

Since the food takes awhile to be served, Zac and I went to explore the other parts of the cafe!This is the rooftop outdoor dining! SO PRETTY RIGHTTT :) I can imagine it being a really lovely romantic spot at night!





Egg Benedicts which the both of us didn't really like.. :( The hollandaise sauce was too sour for our liking and the bread was just mehhhhh.


But the Seafood Aglio Olio was great!! It was fragrant (garlics!!! yummm) and 'oily' (lol) enough. I'm totally a sucker for good aglio olio.... nomz.


Well I got quite lucky and managed to have the swing seat!!


We also had the Red Velvet Cake! It was moist, rich and oh so fattening, yummehhh!!




So afraid that the swing would give way the whole time when both Zac and I were sitting on it. LOL

I'm sure there are other foodie places worth visiting at HV.. I just haven't had the chance to do so yet. Share with me if you have any other recommendations at HV/Ulu Pandan/Clementi area! I'll be glad to check them out :DOh ya... THE DAILY SCOOP (@ Chip Bee Gardens) is a must visit if you're there!! I had one of the best ice cream in Singapore here!
