4.1 - Danang has 70km of beautiful coastline, bathed with sunshine for much of the year. In 2005 Danang beach was recognized as one of the most luxurious beaches in the world by Forbes magazine, a reputable US magazine. My Khe Beach in Danang was included in thetop 10 beaches in Asia as reported by the Sunday Herald Sun(Australia).
4.2 - Danang has many famous tourist sites close by.
The beautiful and spiritual Ngu Hanh Son or Marble Mountains, with their mysterious caves and ancient pagodas and souvenirs made of marble by hundreds of talented stone sculptors, are one of the municipal symbols and less than ten kilometers from Danang.
The gorgeous Ba Na Mountain Resort has a temperate climate, fresh air, unspoiled forest and spectacular views over the city of Danang's inspiring bay and surrounds and is only fourty minutes from Danang. It was known as a high-class resort developed by the French a hundred year ago.
Ba Na - Suoi Mo cable car system has a length of 16,500 feet (5.042km) and a heigh difference of more than 4,230 feet (1,291.81 m) between its upper and lower stations, setting two Guinness World Records for the longest and highest non-stop cable car. In addition, this telpher also holds the record for the largest departure station in Southeast Asia, which has entertainment facilities, a showroom of photos and objects about Ba Na‘s past and present. The nearby Son Tra Peninsular is a natural conservation area and ecological tourist site suitable for trekking, diving, swimming and fishing.
The Museum of Cham Sculpture built in 1915 is the only museum in South East Asia, preserving the unique Cham cultural heritage of the region. It has more than 400 original masterpieces of Cham sculpture that were carved from the 7th to the 15th century, reflecting the spiritual life and the religion of Cham people.
4.3 - Danang hosts many festivals, including Quan The Am Buddhist Festival and Cau Ngu, a traditional festival for fishermen. Traditional Vietnamese singing such as Hat Tuong, Bai Choi, Ho Cheo Thuyen and Ho Khoan (traditional question and answer song) are often performed in Danang along with traditional music and dance. The Danang International Fireworks Competition in April is a unique cultural and tourist event of the city.
4.4 - World class resorts with well-known branches such as Hyatt, Sommerset, Hilton, Le Meridien, etc. are being built in the city. There are different kinds of tourist facilities and recreation services (golf courses, casino, etc.) to meet all requirements and budgets, and excellent restaurants and cafes to cater to all tastes.
