How to access facebook in Vietnam

Facebook is the world’s largest social network, with over 400 million users. Facebook was founded by Mark Zuckerberg in February 2004, initially as an exclusive network for Harvard students.
In Vietnam, Vietnamese government block of/banning Facebook so you can’t access Facebook in some areas of Vietnam.
There are some ways to access Facebook. I will show you two easiest ways to access Facebook in Vietnam.

Using OpenDNS:
OpenDNS is a free DNS (Domain Name System) resolution service. An opt-in service, OpenDNS offers faster resolution and advanced features, such as misspelling correction, phishing protection, and optional filtering.

1. Go to Control Panel
2. Click Network Connections
3. Click Local Area Network, and Right click at Local Area Network
4. Choose Properties -> and click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) --> Click Properties
5. Click Use the following DNS server addresses-> Replace those addresses with the IP addresses at Preferred DNS server to 208.67.222.222 and Alternative DNS server to 208.67.220.220
Click OK, OK.
That's finish.

Using Google Public DNS:
Do the same above steps - Using OpenDNS, but at step 5 in IP addresses at Preferred DNS server and Alternative DNS server. You should use Google Public DNS: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.
That's finish.

Update
Someone said that they couldn't acess facebook like above steps because of ISP has officially blocked all ways to connect to Facebook.

So now, how to access facebook in Vietnam?

1. Access Facebook Via LISP Protocol

You just need access Facebook via address http://www.lisp4.facebook.com instead of normal address. LIPS is a kind of new web protocol and as a pioneer web service, Facebook is testing this protocol too.
This is the easiest way to surf Facebook so far.

2. Add the IP and facebook address into host file of Windows.

Step 1: change DNS to Google DNS (or OpenDNS)
Step 2: Add the IP and facebook address into host file of Windows.
+ Access C:|Windows|system32|drivers|etc.
+ At this folder, open the file hosts by Notepad or Wordpad.

+ Add the below information and then save it.

153.16.15.71 facebook.com
153.16.15.71 www.facebook.com
153.16.15.71 apps.facebook.com
153.16.15.71 login.facebook.com
153.16.15.71 graph.facebook.com
153.16.15.71 static.ak.connect.facebook.com

In case you feel quite complicated to do the above steps, you can download the .EXE file below. Then Extract, choose Yes to overwrite the current host file in your Windows. This file is available in both XP and Seven Windows version.
