Saigon Antique Street (Le Cong Kieu Street)

Saigon antique street is the name of Le Cong Kieu Street. The street is filled with antique shops of all kinds: Vietnamese furniture, Buddha sculptures, bronze statue...
All antique products offered by the Bat Trang pottery kilns, Jiangxi (China); the Stone base in Binh Dinh, Da Nang, the carpenter's shop in Republic Street (City), Duc Hue (Long An) ... and 10%-15% are real antiques.
In 2000 when Hillary Clinton, wife of U.S. President traveled to Vietnam, she visited to this street and bought some antique things as a souvenir.

In the shops along this stretch, also known as Antique Street, you'll find everything old -- or made to look that way -- including Vietnamese water puppets, brass filigree betel nut sets (to hold your betel-nut chewing equipment: they have compartments for betel nut and powdered lime), carved wooden Buddhas, and the occasional hill-tribe textile.
