List of visa exemption agreements between Vietnam and foreign countries

No matter which way of access you choose, a Vietnamese entry visa is required for all foreigners, except for citizens of countries having bilateral agreements on visa exemption with Vietnam.
As of February 2nd, 2009 - Vietnam has signed agreements on visa exemption with 55 countries (56 agreements), of which 54 agreements has entered into effect while 2 agreements has not been in force.
